Create in Subic began with two small creative practices and a recurring problem: good work was happening here, but the rooms and connections around it were scattered.

The origin · creator-led, not creator-only
“A movement for the creators of Subic” is where this started.
That line still belongs in the story. Golden Sinag brought photography. Gawang Diwa brought florals, resin, and workshops. Meetups and local spotlights brought people around the same table.
The house makes the invitation wider: remote workers, makers, instructors, independent professionals, residents, visitors, and anyone curious enough to come in.

How the house should behave
Useful before impressive.

Open enough to enter casually.
You should not need a membership, portfolio, or perfect reason to walk in.

Specific enough to feel local.
Subic’s people, weather, industrial edges, coastal context, and everyday working life should be visible without turning into decoration.

Flexible enough to change through the day.
A shared table can hold laptops in the morning, a workshop in the afternoon, and a conversation after it.

Honest about what is unfinished.
Plans, pricing, schedules, and later phases stay labelled until they are real.
Building in public
The rooms matter. The people in them matter more.
The approximately 240 sqm house is the physical next step, not the beginning of the community. Meetups, pop-ups, workshops, spotlights, and local collaborations are already how the work starts.
