Manifesto · 01

Subic's always made great work. What it's missed: a room to find each other in, and a space built for how we actually shoot, write, and build. That's the gap we're closing. Community first. Studio house second. Both, by people who've been working here for years.

A studio house for Subic. Late 2026.

Our half of an old hall in the Subic Bay Freeport. An open studio for shoots and creative work (also rentable for events). A yoga + pilates room on the mezzanine. Two self-shoot studios you can book by the hour. A mini concept store of goods from local makers, plus Gawang Diwa's floral bar. A cafe is planned for later. One house, several rooms. Nothing like it out here yet.

The people · 07

Two Subic creators behind it. Plus you, eventually.

Create in Subic is run by us: Gabriel Fordan (software developer, runs Golden Sinag photography) and Sophia Cruz (runs Gawang Diwa, florals and resin). Neither of us has had a real studio out here. We work from home, from cafes, from whatever venue we can book. The house is the first space of our own, and we move in when it opens. The rest of the rooms are for everyone else making things in the region.
